"The international Year One is aimed at students who haven't quite got the English speaking, reading, listening, or writing skills, that they need in order to progress directly to the University of Sussex. Sometimes, students haven't studied the subject area that they're coming into before, so it's a really good opportunity to trial all of these different areas within the field before making that final decision about "what degree do I want?". You've got really experienced tutors. That really know their subjects, are experts in their subjects, and they really care, you know, they really do care about the students, which I think so important. And you're based on the University of Sussex campus. We do everything we can to make them feel like they are University of Sussex students before they actually progress to the university. There's a really wide range of subjects, you've got Business and Management, you got Finance and Accounting, Computing, Engineering, International Relations and International Development, and Media and Film Studies. Let's face it, you get to get your degree within 3 years, you get a lot of support you get help with acclimatising to the culture and you get a really nice friendly team of tutors and admin staff around you to support you."
